Channeled drawing, or channeled art in general, involves creating artwork by accessing a higher consciousness or inner wisdom. It’s about drawing from a source beyond the conscious mind, often guided by visions, intuition, or even messages from unseen entities.
Channeled art or drawing is a deeply spiritual practice that involves tapping into a higher consciousness or energy source to guide the creative process. It’s about letting go of control and allowing the art to flow through me as a channel or vessel, rather than trying to control or dictate a particular vision or outcome. This can take many forms, from receiving clear images or messages to simply allowing the energy of the artwork to guide you in a certain direction. The end result is often a highly intuitive and emotional artwork that reflects connection to something greater than yourself, and is often very healing and transformative.
Keep in mind when you channel in an artistic way, you may be inspired to create instead of draw or paint. Examples would be creating jewelry, mosaic creations, wood cravings, molding or creating pottery!
Channeling can be a difficult concept to understand for those who have never experienced it before. Essentially, it means you allow your intuition and inner guidance to lead the way in the art-making process. This can take many forms, from receiving clear images or messages to simply allowing the energy of the artwork to guide me in a certain direction. HOWEVER, it is imperative to make sure you spiritually protect yourself BEFORE you begin to channel. When you channel, you are allowing yourself or your soul to be open to unknown territory much like being in a part of town you are unfamiliar with. And both could be very hazardous. I personally begin all of my channeling and meditations ahead of time by taking in 3 deep breaths and exhales. I then call upon Arc Angel Michael and God to surround me with Their white light of protection. I imagine being in a white bubble or balloon where no harm or dark entities can enter. If you prefer to use another high power from the white light, that is fine as well. These are my personal favorites! Remember, white and light will also over rule darkness!!!
One of the most fascinating aspects of channeled art is the sense of connection and unity that it brings. When I’m creating in this way, I feel a deep connection to something greater than myself. It’s as if I’m tapping into a universal energy or consciousness that exists beyond my individual experience.
Another aspect of channeled art that I find particularly rewarding is the sense of surprise and discovery that comes with each piece. Because I’m not trying to control or dictate the outcome, the finished artwork often surprises me in unexpected ways. I may discover new techniques or color combinations that I never would have thought to try on my own
Other Key aspects of channeled drawing:
- Intuition and Inspiration:
The process often involves following a sense of knowing, an intuitive guidance about what to draw or the direction of the lines.
- Altered State of Consciousness:
Some practitioners enter a state of altered consciousness to facilitate the channeling process, which may involve meditation, relaxation, or even the use of substances.
- Unconscious Creation:
The drawing may be created in a semi-automatic or automatic way, with the artist’s conscious mind playing a less active role in the creation process.
- Messages and Themes:
The artwork may convey specific messages or themes that the artist receives from the channeled source.
- Purpose Beyond Aesthetics:
Channeled art may be used for therapeutic purposes, personal growth, or to explore spiritual or philosophical ideas.
Of course, channeled art is not for everyone. It requires a willingness to let go of control and trust in the creative process. But for those who are open to it, it can be a deeply rewarding and transformative experience.
In a world that often feels disconnected and chaotic, channeled art offers a way to connect with something greater than ourselves. It allows us to tap into a universal energy and create from a place of pure inspiration and intuition. Whether you’re an artist or simply an admirer of art, I invite you to explore the magic of channeled art and discover the beauty that can come from letting go and allowing the creative process to flow.
