Spiritual Generations from the 1940’s-Present

As a child growing up, did you ever feel different? Did you have a great imagination or imaginary playmates? Ever felt like you didn’t belong? Did you talk about it or did you keep it a secret?

I know I did! I grew up in the early 1950’s. I always felt like I didn’t belong. Don’t get me wrong! I had very loving parents but I remembered asking Many times if I was adopted. I loved watching the cowboy shows as well as anything with dogs and horses. In my imagination, I created scenarios of being with the cowboys and having horses and German shepherds mainly because of the shows on TV such as Roy Rogers, Fury and Rin Tin Tin! How many of you remember those shows? I felt like I didn’t belong because I grew up in a neighborhood where all the kids were Catholic and I was protestant. I was constantly being told I was going to die and go to hell. So, I kept pretty much to myself and didn’t express my true inner feelings or thoughts. I was caught between the Silent Generation and the Alpha Indigo Child.  The silent generation children were born 1928 to 1945 and the Alpha Indigo children were born typically between 1958 and 1968. Which was the beginning of the Indigo children. The Silent Generation grew up during World War II and economic hardship, which made them more cautious and quiet. This first wave of Indigo Children called Alpha Indigo, carried the same intuitive, truth‑driven frequency, but they incarnated into a world that was not yet ready for their sensitivity. Looking back at that era, the fight against racism and basic human rights was still intense, and the collective energy was tense and resistant. This period marked the beginning of these souls’ missions.

They were the Pioneers who softened the collective energy for the larger Indigo influx Their aura Often described as having a metallic or gold‑beige protective shield over their indigo‑blue aura. Many felt deeply misunderstood, isolated, or “different” long before the term Indigo Child existed. These Alpha Indigos often didn’t recognize their identity until adulthood, because the spiritual vocabulary simply didn’t exist. Usually, most of these children’s spiritual awakenings didn’t happen until a tragedy struck, which was my case when my only sibling, my brother, passed in 1995.

These Alpha Indigo children helped ease the beginning of the Indigo children born between the late 1970s–1980s however many were born before then. The term originates from the belief that these individuals have an indigo-colored aura. Indigos are often described as old souls. They may be immature, yet older than their years. They like animals and nature. They might seem to have low self-esteem while simultaneously acting grandiose. Many Indigo children have been diagnosed with ADHD or autism, arguing that these traits instead reflect a high-vibration or unique spiritual nature. It’s as if the characteristics that define one, describe the other: out–of–the–box, right-brained and otherwise unconventional learner, and global thinker. Many viewed as “system changers” sent to Earth to shift human consciousness and foster cooperation. They have high intelligence and intuition and are believed to have deep wisdom, strong intuition, and psychic-like abilities from an early age. They can show rebellion against authority and characterized as independent, strong-willed, and resistant to rigid rules or traditional structures.

Next comes the Crystal child born roughly from the 1980s through the 2010s. A crystal child is believed to possess high vibrational energy, deep empathy, and unique healing abilities. Many children with autism are Crystal Children. Sensitives are interconnected with others on an empathic and energetic level, though they are often challenged to connect with others socially.  Deeply empathetic, easily overwhelmed by loud noises, crowds, or negative emotions. They have a peace-loving nature and are naturally gentle, forgiving, and averse to conflict or aggression. They have a strong intuition, often described as having telepathic tendencies, wise-beyond-their-years insight, or a powerful connection to nature and animals. They can have a penetrating gaze, frequently noted for having large, expressive, and intense eyes.

Make way for the Rainbow children born from the year 2000 onward, with some early scout souls arriving slightly before the year 2000 up to around 2003. Rainbow children are said to be a new wave of advanced, high-vibration souls. They can be   fearless and independent, march to their own beat, show strong resistance to strict rules, and rarely seek approval from others.  They often possess high energy and enthusiasm, intense energy levels, sometimes requiring less sleep or finding it hard to sit still. They have a deep love of color and are strongly drawn to bright, colorful clothing, decorations, and vibrant environments. They have come to Earth as natural healers and peacemakers to help shift human consciousness toward harmony.

Finally, we have the Star children. Star children are unique souls thought to originate from other planets, star systems, or higher dimensions. People believe these souls are born on Earth to raise human consciousness, heal society, and guide humanity into a new era of love, peace, and unit.

Star children share several distinct signs. Deep empathy by feeling the emotions of others very strongly and hate unkindness or violence. Sense of not fitting in. They often feel like outsiders or feel homesick for a place that is not Earth. High intelligence and creativity. They show early gifts in art, music, science, or intuitive understanding, and strong intuition appearing wise beyond their years, possessing sharp gut feelings or psychic-like awareness.
