The full moon in July is known as the buck moon named for when male dear known as bucks, grow new antlers. The rapid growth of these antlers in July is a key event in the life cycle of deer, making it a significant time for indigenous tribes who relied on the animals for food and materials.
All full moons is a great time to release ALL that is no longer serving your higher purpose! However, this full moon in July has a spiritual meaning too, symbolizing growth, strength, and renewal and is also seen as a period of personal development and transformation, urging individuals to harness their inner power and embrace changes. Additionally, the Buck Moon is associated with fertility, abundance, and manifestation. It is considered an ideal time for rituals and practices aimed at bringing forth new opportunities and fostering a sense of gratitude for the progress made throughout the year.
This goes hand in hand with the month of August approaching which of course is a 8th month and in numerology 8 is all about achievement! With 2024 adding up to and 8, August is going to not only be a time for achievement but can also bring much chaos as well! More details about this in a future blog and video on my U-Tube channel.
One ritual I personally like to do is place a silver coin out where the moon can shine on it the most for a full week to bring you unexpected prosperity. Simply place a silver coin, yes, it’s best if it is all silver and set your intentions as you place your coin. This is called your “moon money”! Keep in mind, prosperity is not always about money! Keep in mind, the energy of the full moon begins 3 days prior and lasts for 3 days after.
Next if you have crystals, set them out the night of the full moon to cleanse and clear them of any negativity they might have picked up. Remember, everything is made of energy and yes even crystals can hold on to negative energy. On the night of the full moon, fill a glass container with purified water and place a quarter in it. Allow it to sit out the whole night. Remove it the next day, water your plants with your “moon water” then keep your quarter in your pocket to bring you unexpected prosperity as well! Lastly if you have negative energy in your home, place pink Himalayan salt in small bowls in the far corners of the inside of your home. Leave it there for at least a week. Then remove the salt in an outside trash receptacle.
