Believe it or not, music has a more powerful influence on our emotional states than we even realize.
Everyone loves music. Whether you listen to it while working, walking to school or while falling asleep; on average a person listens to music 20 hours weekly. But have you ever considered that this form of art can be used for purposes other than simply enjoyment? In the ancient times, medicine was relied on heavily by faith, and sometimes magic. Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Indians used vegetables and herbs to treat common illnesses like colds. However, as times progressed, people started believing more in science and developing what we now know as modern medicine. However, there was always one thing that continued to be used for both its pleasure, as well as for its therapeutic and healing properties – music.

The sounds we are surrounded with and those produced by others can cause a significant change in our mood, impact our wellbeing and reduce anxiety or stress. Both playing and listening to music can affect many parts of our brain including: the auditory cortex – responsible for processing sound, the motor cortex – which controls movement and the limbic system – involved in our emotions and behavioral responses.

These are called high-vibration music because the sound vibrations and the frequencies provided by these kinds of music can easily lift your overall mood. Music raises your vibration by influencing your emotional state and physical responses through the power of sound and rhythm. Listening to music, especially when it resonates with you, can trigger the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward, which in turn can elevate your mood and energy levels. Music’s ability to evoke emotions, create a sense of connection, and even influence bodily rhythms through vibrations are all key factors in its capacity to raise your vibrational frequency.

What Does ‘High Vibration’ Mean?

High Vibrations are typically connected with positive qualities and feelings such as love, compassion, forgiveness, and many more. While on the other hand, low vibrations relate to darker qualities such as greed, hatred, fear, and even depression.

When we say high-vibration music, it means any music that is positive, inspiring, and musically uplifting. When the music you are listening to is vibrating at a higher level, you would feel lighter, happier, and more relaxed, whereas lower vibrations feel heavy, dark, and confusing.

What Are Considered High Vibration Music?

Technically, any kind of music that is known to be created with positive and good intentions and makes the listener feel good can be considered high-vibrational music. There are also no strict rules on what is considered to be high-vibration music, but below are some of its known types and examples.

Traditional High Vibration Music

Did you ever listen to a certain song and immediately felt that it had inspired your mood? Did you feel lighter and happier?

At some point, for sure you had this kind of moment.

Spiritual High Vibration Music

This one is a kind of music that you would usually hear in a more spiritual manner. Imagine being in a yoga class or meditation class.

Why Do People Think It Can Help the Human Body?

One important thing that high-vibration music does is that it helps the listeners practice gratitude. And practicing gratitude means you are inviting abundance into your life. When you know that you are welcoming abundance, you would feel great. And when you feel great? Your body would absolutely feel awesome too!

Some other benefits of listening to high-vibration music are:

  • It enables the listeners to relax their bodies and mind
  • It helps to set the mood to high-vibe activities
  • It allows people to feel better when they are feeling low or upset
  • It also helps remove the toxins and energy blockages from the body of the listeners
  • It helps promote spiritual balance and overall balance in oneself

Imagine just listening to your favorite high-vibration music while you are on your way to work, wouldn’t you feel more energized and more enthusiastic to start your day?

  • Emotional Impact:

Music has a profound effect on our emotions, and by consciously choosing music that evokes positive feelings like joy, peace, or inspiration, you can shift your emotional state and raise your vibration.

  • Brain Activity:

Listening to music activates various brain regions, including the auditory cortex, motor cortex, and limbic system, which is involved in processing emotions and memory.

  • Vibrational Resonance:

Music is essentially a form of vibration, and different frequencies of sound can resonate with different aspects of our being. When you listen to music that aligns with your desired emotional state, it can help synchronize your own internal vibrations with the music’s frequency, promoting a sense of harmony and well-being.

  • Music as Therapy:

Music therapy utilizes the power of music to address various emotional and physical needs, including anxiety, stress, and pain. Specific frequencies and rhythms can be used to induce relaxation, promote healing, and even help retune the body’s natural rhythms.

Active Engagement:

Not only does listening to music affect your vibration, but creating music, whether through singing, playing an instrument, or even just moving to the rhythm, can be a powerful way to raise your vibration and connect with your inner self.
